Ash Cafe Al Khuwair sits in a prominent square building along Al Khuwair Street in Muscat, offering a casual cafe experience that blends local snack culture with a laid-back setting. This spot is less about lingering over artisanal coffee and more about quick bites and familiar flavors that fit well into the rhythm of everyday life here.

The cafe is known among locals for its selection of savory snacks like rice dumplings, chicken spring rolls, and various forms of sambusa. If you’re stopping by in the morning or early afternoon, you’ll find it buzzing with regulars picking up mandazi or kachori—a kind of fried dough snack that's a popular pick-me-up throughout Oman. The availability of mandazi tends to dwindle by evening, so earlier visits are ideal if you want to savor these treat staples alongside a warm cup of ginger tea.

Atmosphere-wise, Ash Cafe feels functional and familiar rather than polished or trendy. It’s the kind of place where families might order a spread of appetizers for a gathering, or where someone might call ahead to place an order for an assortment of snacks. The friendly, straightforward setup is designed to serve locals who gravitate toward classic flavors and quick service rather than lengthy cafe lounging.

This is a spot that fits nicely into the Al Khuwair neighborhood, appealing to people looking for a dependable pit stop for light bites in the midst of their day. For those wanting a taste of local snack traditions without venturing too far off the main street, Ash Cafe offers a slice of the everyday with familiar, well-loved flavors.

The best Mandazi in town they also have kichori, samosas and fish cutlets with the most delicious green sauce. Unfortunately, Mandazi is not always available in the evening

This shop is a combination of Habari restaurant and ash bakery, it's the best place to order the appetizers for family gatherings, and the best brownies you can taste in town. Last pic is the phone number that you can order from.
